Western Mopar Madness was started by the Edmonton Mopar Association (EMA), an organization formed in 2016 to support and encourage Mopar enthusiasts and the love of all things Mopar.  As the EMA grew in membership, the desire to revive the car show and car race of past car clubs became a frequent topic.  With the support of Castrol Raceway, many corporate sponsors and the tireless efforts of our Executive, Western Mopar Madness officially launched on July 20, 2019.

That first event, Western Mopar Madness 2019 showcased 435 vehicles, officially making it the largest All Mopar Show & Race in Western Canada.  Our 2020 & 2021 events had to be cancelled due to the protocols that were in place at that time.  We resumed the event in 2022 and have been working hard to make it better each and every year.   For those of us that work on this event, MOPAR is a piece of history, nostalgia, pop culture, community and friendly competition all rolled up into one and we try to share that through this amazing family friendly summer event.  We hope you find out for yourself!
